The Automatic Litter-Robot™ III Open Air has been designed to work with various types of clumping litter, not just premium clumping clay litters. As long as the litter forms good clumps and the particle size and weight allows good sieving, the litter should be suitable. As a guide wood and paper based litters are not suitable due to size of particles and lightweight for volume. As a large variety of clay clumping litters are suitable, you have purrsonal choice to suit your cats and your budget, and availability in your area.

Pro Tip, make sure you are using suitable clay clumping litter in the manual litter system BEFORE introducing the Robot, as familiar litter will help your cats recognise the Litter-Robot™ is a new litter box, just a different shape, and will make the transition faster and easier for all.

Thank you for your email and interest in the amazing Litter-Robot new release, LR4.We expect to be getting stocks of the new and exciting LR4 asap but have no release dates for New Zealand distribution yet.Release of new products is always restricted to USA first, overseas later after trialing and troubleshooting in USA to make sure any issues are addressed as best as possible prior to making the product available overseas.We are hoping to have the LR4 available in NZ but are now expecting it will not be before mid 2024 at this stage, so quite a wait yet.We also don't have any pricing, but with the USA pricing as a very rough guide, our expectation is the LR4 will be considerably more expensive than the Connect, which is more expensive than the standard (non-wifi) LR3. The gun metal grey colour is only available in Connect version, as per manufacturer release. UPDATE we should have more stock of the dark gunmetal grey Robot soon, Connect version.

Is there a service team in Auckland? I have a litter robot 3 and the cycling light always on and you and turn the machine off. I have replaced the motor but doesn’t work. So wondering if there a service team here to fix the problem. Many thanks. Here is my number. Txt is better. Thanks again.

Hi there, I've just moved into an apartment and my Litter Robot standard arrived on Friday which was great - I just wanted to find out about whether there is some sort of housing i can order for putting it outside on a balcony that has a roof, and walls at either end. The Litter Robot would be somewhat protected from the weather by the roof and wall, but obviously it would still be exposed on one side so subject to weather. Just thought if there was some sort of housing available so it could be put outside? Thanks Kate
We dont have cabinets available for the Litter-Robot. If it is located outside, but not getting wet, then it does not need covering. Basically, if you could put a litter tray in the location and not have it get wet, the Robot should be ok. If you do get rain or wet weather blowing in, then you need to have it in a dry space. We have had some customers upcycle or convert cabinets to house the appliance, or make or have them made. Litter robot stopped powering up. Something happened overnight as fine when I went to bed.Only had it a few weeks. No lights. No switch on. Power at wall outlet checked and power is working.
Thank you and as per our phone call, we are progressing power supply checks. If not resolved, we will progress replacement, with emails for troubleshooting best ;o)

Yes indeed, the Litter-Robot is supplied with a compliant plug, you do not need to use an adaptor.

Cat Evolution is the Australian Distributor. Currently there is no stock of the Standard LR3-1000 (LR3 non wifi) in Eastern States as sold out. We do have stock in WA. Unfortunately, cost to ship from WA is quite high, making purchase of the Connect better value as in stock for Eastern States.
