Litter-Robot: My bonnet keeps disconnecting
Description. Cycle is interrupted with the solid yellow light changing to a slow flashing yellow light and the globe stops cycling. This may be seen when the Robot is cycling and you are near, or maybe reported by the Connect App.
As the bonnet needs to be securely in place, please follow the steps below:
- Disconnect the bonnet by pushing in the front tabs and leaning the bonnet top away, and lifting out of the rear tabs.
- Gently flex the two front bonnet tabs outward at as close to a 90-degree angle as you can. Hold in position for 20-30 seconds. This increases the clipping pressure.
- Reattach the bonnet starting with the back-left tab, then the back-right tab, and the bonnet tilted away at the same fixed angle. When the rear tabs are in place, tilt the bonnet forward so the front 2 clips slide into place. Put some downward pressure on the bonnet to ensure the front 2 tabs clip in securely.
- Test by putting a finger from each hand into the 2 holes on the bonnet near the top, and try to lift the Litter-Robot. If the bonnet lifts off, it is not secured, and you need to start again.
If you still have an issue, please submit a ticket, or review cycle issues for more helpful information.
